-Oversee and manage all relevant aspects of the business.
-Be a role model, mentor and standards bearer in every situation, at every moment.
-Be an ambassador for the business with guests, staff and suppliers.
-Reports to: Operations Director / Financial Controller & General Manager
-3 point approach: Show / check / expect.
-Working within the 4 pillars: Revenue generation, Cost controls, People (recruitment, training & development) and Quality Control (the guest & staff experience).
-Work by and instil the 5 beliefs of the company ethos: Fun / care / passion / quality / commercials.
-Ensuring compliance at all times.
-Business overview and controls (delegate to department heads).
-Reporting of the business to direct reports and stakeholders.
-Planning ahead, forecasting and taking into account external factors & events and planning / reacting to them in a timely manner.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
-Previous experience as AGM / GM in a similar environment.
-Positive & forward thinking / approach – engage in company activities.
-Great communicator - with both direct reports, site managers and stakeholders alike.
-Financially astute – P&L, wages, stock management.
-Computer / IT literate.
-Seeks input and feedback from piers / operations team but is the driving force.
-Food Hygiene – Level 1.
-Health & Safety – Level 1.
-Train to train certificate.
-Level 2 Emergency First Aid at work.
