We are looking for a confident Cafe Supevisor to join our team!
The position is concerned with the efficient management of the branch under the direction of the General Management; with the implementation of established practices and policies of the company (including the job descriptions of subordinates); with the objective of maximising customer satisfaction and profitability.
Management of all branch staff including full communication with the Relief Branch Manager.
Accurate and timely administration including personnel management, food and beverage ordering, linen control, staff rotas and reporting of weekly payroll details.
Maintenance & Hygiene:
To ensure the sufficient supply, upkeep, and cleanliness of all items in the restaurant. To carry out the above with the use of routine inspections.
Food & Beverage Hygiene:
To ensure rigorous attention to food and beverage hygiene in line with legal requirements and good handling practice.
Food & Beverage Service
To carry out cashiering duties as set out in the company's cash-handling policy.
Through observation of the operation and feedback to General Management and communication with staff to work together to improve all aspects of the branch.
Alcoholic beverages may be served only to people over 18 years of age who are taking a meal between 11.00 and 24.00 from Monday to Saturday and 12.00 to 23.30 on Sundays and Good Friday. It is an offence to serve alcohol to an intoxicated person.
Opening and Closing Procedure:
To perform any other duties as required by General Management. All Employees may be required to transfer to any other branch or to change hours of work if necessary either on a temporary or permanent basis.
