The Food & Beverage Operations team are responsible for the member food and beverage outlets at the Club, as well as the running of events in its East Wing, run by the Events Operations and Events Bars team.
The Events Bars team are responsible for the controlling, selling and serving of all alcohol served at events. From meetings and conferences to weddings and award ceremonies, the event spaces at the Club in the Hurlingham Suite (“East Wing”) is fully adaptable for formal and informal events depending on individual requirements and is available to accommodate up to 800 guests for a seated dinner.
As the Events Bars Manager you will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Events Bar and all other function bars used throughout the East Wing. You will have overall responsibility for the liquor/food stock held within the Palm Court. You will manage and organise staff, rostering staff on according to the needs of the business. Where necessary, you will liaise with clients and will deal with enquiries to the Events Bars team as appropriate. You will report to and work closely with the Head of Events Operations and F&B Management in making sure that standards are maintained in order to guarantee customer satisfaction.
As a member of the Events Bars team you will need to be confident with excellent customer service skills and have proven experience in the organisation and preparation of bars from a similar type of establishment. It is important you are proactive, organised and work well under pressure. The desired candidate will have previous experience working high profile and large scale events and a passion for working within hospitality.
