Herewith inploi's latest hospitality events roundup - there's plenty to look forward to in February/March 2017!
With Easter just around the corner, the hospitality industry is gearing up for the British spring/summer event calendar. Seasoned industry leaders will be well aware of the annual turn of events and kept in the loop for new ones that spring out of the woodwork each year. But, for those of you who are new to the industry, here’s a short summary of recent and forthcoming.
Chefs of Tomorrow Dinner at Charlotte’s W5 - The TMRW Project
The first instalment of this year’s annual calendar of events from The TMRW Project, saw Chefs of Tomorrow being hosted at the beautiful restaurant venue, Charlotte’s W5 in Ealing.
Four young chefs worked together to create an outstanding four-course menu:
Ham hock terrine with spring onions, sweet date puree, blood orange and red endive - Sam Weatherly (Cabotte)
Sweetbread smoked ravioli with girolles - Roberto Gallo (Charlotte’s Place)
Supported by Dan Doherty (Duck and Waffle), Alex Wretham (Charlotte’s Group) and Anna Sulan Masing (The TMRW Project) the evening was a great success - giving rising stars the opportunity to step outside their kitchen, challenge their skills and share their love of food. We can’t wait for the next instalment!

AIR Member’s Breakfast at Joe Allen - Alliance of Independent Restaurants
The Alliance of Independent Restaurants (also known as AIR Hospitality), kicked off their first event of the year with a member’s breakfast, hosted at Joe Allen in Covent Garden. Celebrating the launch of their new website and the appointment of CEO Mark Linehan (former Managing Director of the Sustainable Restaurant Association), AIR has plenty to look forward to over the course of 2017.
Over breakfast, AIR members (comprised of restaurateurs and suppliers), discussed what it means to be an independent restaurant, and future plans for members benefits and partnerships were announced.
