Ben's Canteen beats Crowdcube target inploi Team | 10.03.2017

Ben’s Canteen have broken their crowdfunding target at breakneck speed. Their Crowdcube campaign to raise £250,000 went live only yesterday, and has already exceeded its target!

So what is the money for?

When Ben Walton first opened Ben’s Canteen in Clapham Junction in 2011, he had a vision for creating an alternative social and eating space to London pubs.

5 years on, and 2 sites later, serving up some of the best beer, wine, burgers and fried chicken in London, Ben’s Canteen is making the step from independent to scale-up.

Ben and his partners have big plans for the future - hoping to have 10 Ben’s Canteen sites open over the next 5 years.

Step 1 is to establish their third canteen in the new development at Battersea Power Station, opening alongside other independents including Duckroad - a new sister restaurant to Rawduck & Ducksoup.

Can’t wait till 2020? Then head on down to Ben’s Canteen in Clapham Junction or Earlsfield this weekend!
